Sand Hill Engineering has released version 3.8.9 of "XTension" the Mac-only
home automation software.

The last several private revisions have added some very interesting fixes
and features for users of the LynX-PLC interface, and provide even better
support for James Sentman's X2Web and Dean Davis's WeatherMan, for and even
more powerful tool set for setting up your home for control and monitor via
any web browser, including Audrey !

Did the maid or dog sitter come today ? For how long ? Did your daughter
get home at a reasonable time ? If it's raining at the house, are the kids
outside getting a cold ?

Set up your home control system on the web and be able to veiw
everything... and maybe control some things ...?

The latest version along with the LynX-PLC, offers the unique ability to
set the powerline signal output and the receiver sensitivity according to
your home powerline conditions.

XTension is available in a free Lite version which incorporates all of the
features of the full version, with only a limitation on the number of
database units. (The Lite version works with most popular X-10 controllers
and the new MR26a.)

Packages of the software and X-10 starter kits are available at different
web sales sites. (The software is available on the website for $79.95)
