This new version is now available at a price of US$/EURO 249 per single user license. The new release of pdfPreviewMaker offers the user an interface for manual processing. At the same time, pdfPreviewMaker can be driven by AutoPilot and thus can be fully integrated into an automated PDF workflow. What is pdfPreviewMaker? pdfPreviewMaker creates previews and thumbnails of PDF pages, either in BMP (Windows bitmap) or JPEG format. All settings for the creation of previews (including file format, size, resolution and destination folder) can be customized. When processing multiple page PDF files, the previews automatically get an index number in their file name. AutoPilot compatibility In high volume working areas pdfPreviewMaker can be fully integrated in automated processes with AutoPilot, the open PDF Workflow solution. Through a 'hot folder' mechanism, users can simply drop PDF files into any designated folder and pdfPreviewMaker or any other AutoPilot complient tool will do his job automatically without any need for the users intervention. AutoPilot is a high-performance automation tool for professional publishing with Adobe Acrobat. Users can configure customized queues by means of which several AutoPilot-clompliant Acrobat Plug-ins can be started in sequence for the processing of files. Processing stages such as the creation of previews (pdfPreviewMaker), preflighting (pdfInspektor2), printing (MadeToPrint) or trapping (SuperTrap - www.heidelberg.com) can be automated with AutoPilot.
