BITHEADZ ANNOUNCES UNITY MAC VERSION 3.2.2 NOW SHIPPING!
East Greenwich, RI - November 25th, 2003. BitHeadz, Inc., the leading
manufacturer of hand-crafted, software musical instruments, announces that
they have begun shipping the latest 3.2.2 versions of Unity Session, Unity
Synth Expander 1, Unity DS-1, and Unity AS-1.
This latest release continues to enhance Unity's already superior
integration with RTAS, VST, and Audio Unit compatible sequencers within
MacOS X "Panther." A Unity MIDI Destination can now be created for
applications that do not make use of RTAS, AU, or VST capabilities.
RTAS, VST, and Audio Units (within Digital Performer only) can make use of
Unity's multi-timbral plugin support, where each instance can support up to
16 MIDI channels.
By using Unity's newly adopted MESH Technology (MIDI Event Scheduling and
Handling), users will get a more accurate response when playing back within
a sequencer, catering primarily to those who rely on a large hardware
buffer setting.
Osmosis has also been updated for Mac OS X, and will be a free update
(contained within 3.2.2 update) for all current Unity Session owners.
Owners of previous versions may update to Osmosis 3 for $99 plus shipping
and handling.
The update will be free to all current Unity 3.x users and will be
available for download from the company web site, www.BitHeadz.com.
