The new build system is not yet finished, but you can give it already a try. It still needs two or three evenings of hacking in order to remove the whole cmake system, but what you can try is:
1) update to the latest Git 2) cd src/ 3) make netsniff-ng 4) run ./netsniff-ng/netsniff-ng That should work.
