I would prefer a public repository on github, so everyone is able to change the content and the development would be easier for me. I know that wget does not work with git. Can you create a cronjob on your WEB-server which dynamically update the PCAPs from github?

As mentioned, lets solve it in this way that I'll upload all of them to the public directory and put a link onto the main website, so that people can use them (also easily with wget). I think this will be the better solution. If you like, you can also add this archive then to our fuzz-testing script in src/test/ so that we use both archives. Additionally, a link into the documentation would be good as well. Privately ping me when you have more pcaps that I should upload later on.
