I've just taken a quick look at it, and they look very similar.

The topology:

     Netsukuku             | DART
     ------------------------------------------
     grop-nodes and levels | subtree and levels

|---(their fundamental principle is the same!)
 
About the "Split Network" we even use a common term: "network identifier".
It seems they don't examine in detail the case of "Split Networks".
Their relocation mechanism (see "Handling Constraint Violations") is a bit
arbitrary: "lower node identifier wins". In Netsukuku, we use the
Communication Vessel system.
