settings.SIMULATED is used by the simulator that doesn't have a CLI and really it doesn't use the singleton settings used by the real code. See tests for more details. settings.MULTIPATH for now is taken from /etc/netsukuku/settings.conf, that is not in the svn for now. Consider that netsukuku is not released yet. Please can you open a ticket for your patch?
