It updated mac ports perfectly, And it installed all of the netsukuku dependencies, Along with their dependencies without issue! It used bzr to download netsukuku, And it worked without issue! Then, It ran ./autogen.sh, Which, Again, Functioned normally. It is at actually compiling where it failed. It said there was no make file when the script ran make, And make install didn't work either.
I tried using automake (which I added to the script because it refused to even try to compile it until I installed it.) And it gave this fascinating error!
unknownd8306264c9a0:netsukuku-vala name$ automakeMakefile.am:1163: warning: variable 'leak_test_tasklet_SOURCES' is defined but no program or
Makefile.am:1163: library has 'leak_test_tasklet' as canonical name (possible typo)
Makefile.am:1178: warning: variable 'leak_test_tasklet_LDADD' is defined but no program or
Makefile.am:1178: library has 'leak_test_tasklet' as canonical name (possible typo)
unknownd8306264c9a0:netsukuku-vala name$I'm not sure how we could fix this, Maybe modifying the make file? Anyway, It seems like Mac OSX can run netsukuku, It has just reached this compilation problem. I'll keep trying later, Please tell me if you have any advice!
More updates:So, I tried connecting my two computers through netsukuku without using any of those preperation scripts, And it did work! I was able to ping them and everything! My desktop, However, Which is only connected to the internet through my laptop sharing it's internet connection through ethernet (Which is the interface I am running netsukuku on) was not able to connect to the internet. My Laptop still can connect to the internet, teamviewer still works, and it can ping google.com. But my Desktop cannot, Even if I disable internet sharing in the connection settings of the network manager, And let IGS just do it. It still doesn't work. I am not sure why.
I hope Luca, Or someone else can help me with this, I really want to try to fix this stuff! Maybe I will have to run those preperation scripts, Or something similar to them. But connect to the internet manually somehow, Though, I still have the feeling it would mess with netsukuku, Like the process of getting an IP address.
I'll look through Luca's blog again, Hopefully that will help some more, I, Also, Have two ubuntu virtual machines which are clones of each other from before. Hopefully I will have better luck testing with them, Which I will try.
Anyway! Thank you all for reading! I hope I documented this all well enough! I'll try to include more errors and log files next time!
