No. You are still far.
You are putting your focus on compilation problems, because you have no
deep enough knowledge of autotools and make.
I think you are not going to solve those problems in the right way.
But the point is that a Mac port needs much more work than just making it
to compile.
Focus on linux. It's better for you.

I got all your emails.
It is a very good thing that you do all the try-and-error tests that you
are doing. It is a way to learn.
But you don't need to report every single bit to the mailing list. You are
going to annoy people.
For example, if you want to learn autotools: read documentation; make some
test project; when you have questions then search or make questions on a
autotools-focused mailing list.
The same goes if you want to learn Vala.
