While I'm on the subject of the web site, there are a few issues about the RISC OS local documentation, which is built from the web site.
jmb: I mentioned that there was an issue with URL rewriting when fragments were involved. Well I just recieved: ------ Forwarded message ------ From: Tony Moore <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 03 Dec 2008 1550 Subject: netsurf documentaion (fwd) On 29 Nov 2008, Michael Drake <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: [snip] > What you have found is a bug in the autobuilder which causes it to > rewrite the URLs incorrectly when there is a #fragment at the end of > the URL. Michael I've just looked more closely at this. In the local file Documentation there are dozens of instances of #fragment which have been rewritten correctly. Are you sure that this problem is not just a simple typo of 'info' for 'info_en', which leads to "../documentation/info#Bugs" instead of "../documentation/info_en#Bugs" in file:///<NetSurf$Dir>/Docs/contact/index_en ? Tony ------ End forwarded message ------ So it now looks like the URL rewriter isn't being run on that file? Presumably because it came from the contact directory, rather than the documentation directory of the web site? Also, I got this from Tony: ------ Forwarded message ------ From: Tony Moore <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 06 Dec 2008 1610 Subject: documentation again Michael NetSurf 2.0 (Dev) (03 Dec 2008 11:45) r5872 File !NetSurf.Docs.documentation.resinstall_en is displayed without images. I believe that, in the html, bootinstall.png should read bootinstall_png boot.png should read boot_png configure.png should read configure_png system.png should read system_png Tony ------ End forwarded message ------ Those images come from the documentation/images/resinstall directory. The actual images have been correctly copied into the archive and correctly renamed. The resinstall.en HTML file has also been correctly copied and renamed however, it has not been correctly updated to fix image the paths. I'm not sure if it's because it doesn't know about the resinstall.en HTML file or if it is not used to rewriting filenames in subdirectories of documentation/images/.
