Hello,
The first draft of the 2009 ideas page is now up at
http://www.netsurf-browser.org/developers/gsoc/2009ideas
It still needs quite a few blanks filled in, fleshed out with a few more
details and possibly a few more ideas.
The biggest things missing are:
+ LibSVGTiny project details
+ Automated NetSurf layout test suite details
+ That idea about making things swifter (e.g. deferred JPEG decoding)
is not listed yet. Needs some more explicit info.
There are some bits marked with ??? in the GTK project which need to be
clarified.
Finally, last time LH said we should have some ideas with a lot more info
than others, iirc. That led to the gray boxes on the 2008 ideas page --
http://www.netsurf-browser.org/developers/gsoc/2008ideas -- so I guess a
couple of the ideas should be fleshed out quite a bit to provide the
necessary variety.
Any other things we should add or change?
