For platforms that have NSAPI then, as François says, there's
nspluginwrapper to work with. For anything else, pass.

However, I disabled the RISC OS plugin support as, in certain
circumstances, it can take out the browser. I know why, it's just a
somewhat large job to fix (it's related to the gui_multitask mess).

I think the above answers this :) It's something that should probably
happen at some point, but, as you say, there's no pressing need, and
it's probably too much effort right now.
