Just wondered if you had considered moving to use GPL3?
AIUI as a distributor of 'Verbatim copies' we would no longer need to supply
or offer to supply sources.
n.b. We do ensure we comply with GPL2 by supplying the sources.

Yes, some time ago, when the GPLv3 was finalised. We asked everybody
who had contributed to the source code, and people overwhelmingly
voted on "GPLv2", and not "GPLv2 or later" or "GPLv3".
I believe the options we provided for the vote where MIT (which is used
for all the libraries like libhubbub, libcss, libdom, etc), GPLv2, GPLv2
or later, and GPLv3.
