Brian, not sure that is appropriate example, given the utter hollowing out that
has happened within US academia during the past two decades. Yes, a titled
"Assoc. Prof" might be making a 'decent wage' with good benefits, but don't
forget all the adjunct folks who are *not* getting either. Are those exploited
educators considered key?
