This competition is pretty high profile in the Community world.
It has cropped up in every professional group I'm in and I know of at
least one group going for it.
Don't get your hopes up about winning, (from what I gather the
prizewinners will be communities that can point to some concrete impact
in the world, and wonderful as Nettime is, do we?), but if you do, as
far as I'm concerned the Nettime Mods can do what they like with the
money.
If you want a concrete suggestion - I wonder if Nettimer Radio Reed
Flute could use it well.
Actually if RRF is a community yet, they should consider going for it.
And you can thank Nettime in your acceptance speech:-)
