How do I get a Solars nv24 machine (SunOS 5.11 i86pc)
to use a "secure" port so that it may talk to a linux
nfs server?

On the Solaris machine I do:

  # mount -o vers=3 sw:/home /tmp/zot
nfs mount: mount: /tmp/zot: Not owner

On the linux server's console, I see:

nfsd: request from insecure port (172.31.130.83:62748)!

I've tried running mdb -kw and setting clnt_clts_do_bindresvport/W 1
but that did not change anything.

I realize reserved ports are bogus, but I don't own the linux machine,
and there is no convincing the admins of that machine. Please help..

Thanks,

Drew
