Indeed -- and as an aside, the DHCP client's use of DLPI also leads to
reduced performance (see 4863327), and gets in the way of supporting DHCP
over the (upcoming) IPMP meta-interface.  So a fix is imminent.

In the meantime: I don't think you need to kill dhcpagent; simply doing a
"netstat -D" should be sufficient for it to close the DLPI stream.
