The standard reference in this case is Stevens API book and it covers
ancillary data, sticky options, etc.  Thats not to say we shouldn't
improve our documentation.  But I think we should concentrate on things
Solaris specific, not in Stevens, or things poorly described in
Stevens.  Possible conflicts with other APIs on related platforms is
one thing to document heavily.
