Lee, note that as of Solaris 10, 802.3ad trunking is part of the base
operationg system, as per 'dladm create-aggr'. Currently, this feature is
limited to GLDv3-based network drivers, but the Clearview[1] Project
includes enhancements that allow all Solaris Ethernet network drivers to
use 802.3ad -- without requiring changes to the drivers. Regardless of
the driver, the administration will be performed seamlessly through
dladm(1M).

We will have early-access bits for Clearview available shortly (there are
some legal issues holding it up right now). Once they're available, we
will post a note to this list, and summarize the functionality added in
those EA bits.
