Does the switch to GLDv3 in Solaris 10 mean access to a NIC via DLPI needs to be re-written to function on the BGE?

We have something running on the bge in Solaris 8 and hme in Solaris 8 and Solaris 10 but a developer is telling me DLPI is not working with the bge in Solaris 10.

Sorry this is an ambiguous question but I dont understand DLPI myself.

DLPI should still be working fine. If you open /dev/bge and talk style 2 or open /dev/bgeX (where X is the PPA) and talk style 1 then things should work as before. The only difference is that /dev/bge and /dev/bgeX are provided by the centralized Nemo (dld) driver and not the bge driver directly. This may affect what you're running if it based on the assumption the the DLPI provider name and the driver name match.
