Hi, (I'm using EXCR b50 - I believe)
I seem to have a very similar issue as in http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6431317 except e1000g is already aliased to pci8086,1000. Is there any way for me to "fix" this with driver aliases? I'm using an Acer Aspire 5680 laptop, and would very much like it to work (with network) with Solaris. The (maybe) relevant section from prtconf is: [keep in mind that I'm using the 10 finger protocol] i86pc pci, instance #0 pci8086,27d6, instance #4 pci8086,1000, instance #0 (driver not attached) Is this pci8086,27d6 shadowing my NIC from the driver? I'd like to "just fix it" instead of opening yet another bug report.
