Yes, it has to be a GLDv3-based link; aggregating legacy links is not yet
supported (check whether "dladm show-link" reports "type: legacy").

However, as part of Project Clearview, we're lifting this requirement.  In
fact, an announcment real soon now on this alias will include a pointer to
early access bits that allows you to aggregate qfe's (actually, the
aggregation will be able to be composed of any set of Ethernet links).
