Thanks James, As such I don't have anything to do with java. Its just i found a similarity there and i gave that reference. I am looking at the TCP_EXCLBIND option. Also is there any issue from security point of view if I use these options which allow to bind to the same address port pair like other processes can bind to the same port and intersect between messages destined for my server ?
