I guess allowing a sys admin to specify proxy info does
not necessarily imply that the sys admin must do that :-)

I believe the method I outlined in the previous mail allows
the above to happen. If not, please point out the problem.

While we try to be "very automagic," I guess there is always
something that cannot be done magically. But at least in the
aforementioned scenario, I believe the app will just work.
