I have a laptop with iprb and iwi interfaces. NWAM works poorly on
this laptop due to using the running flag driven by DL_NOTE_{UP,DOWN}
which iprb doesn't support. I looked at a couple of drivers to see if I
could get a sense of how to add this to iprb but didn't see a
consistent answer although I believe I found where iprb knows the
answer. Is there a driver in the ON tree that I should use as an
example/model or is there documentation that would tell me how whatever
model the iprb driver is written to is meant to support these messages.
I havn't written any drivers on Solaris nor really worked on any sort
of direct device support on any OS for over a decade. This is just as
a side project aimed at scatching my own itch, some personal education,
and hopefully a useful result.
