As the author of a 10GbE driver which constrained to GLDv2 due to lack
of public GLDv3 interfaces, I whole-heartedly second this!


Unfortunately, there isn't anything _I_ can personally due to fix this. Believe me, I would far far rather have had nemo interfaces available for my own public GLDv2 drivers.

This is an OpenSolaris issue as well, so this is something we could tackle as part of an OpenSolaris project with community contributors. Since there's a great interest on this I can get the ball rolling on that front and send a proposal for a new project. Your help will definitely be greatly appreciated :-)
