Hi,
To some extend you have understand my situation...Let me clear few more things
which may help you further to sort out things..

I have bought the second hand system from market with corrupted Solaris file
system installed. When i boot up the system its giving error while mounting main
partition and asking for root password for running maintenance for recovering
the file sytem through fix disc utillity.I don't know the password since i have
picked it from the market.I just continued the booting process by pressing
Ctrl-D but it stops after asking for NIS server.
Now from here how i can go to Open Boot Prom(OBP)..Please can you tell me the
command to cancel the booting process and go to OBP so that i can format the
hard disk and install the operating system from scratch?
I think i have no other choice than to install the OS from scratch bc i dont
know the password and i cannot bring up the NIS server. This is the easy way to
bring the system up.
Thanks and regards
Hammad
