Hi, The odd part on all of this, is that if I use the HUAWEI E220 with the same configuration it works just fine. But with this Novatel U830 (I think this is the one ... I'not with the laptop right now) this is what happens.
I had the same problem before when I was using the the wrong phone number with the E220. But since it works in E220 shouldn#t it work with this one as well???? Or maybe there is the driver or init string different for the novatel? Even when I'm doing modem commands with tip I get results. But here comes another odd thing. Changing the sim card to another operator, I'm still able to issue modem commands, but the output is exactly has vodafone. which is odd... once again in E220 doesn't happen :S odd thing right?
