Here you go: Download http://joostm.nl/solaris/vr/VR_1_10/via-rhine-ethernet.pkg and make it available to your system (via a USB stick for example).
Then run, as root, # pkgadd -d via-rhine-ethernet.pkg Using your favorite editor, add an IP address and a name for this interface to your /etc/hosts file. Then run # echo name > /etc/hostname.vr0 where you substitute "name" for the name you added to the /etc/hosts file. Then, a reboot is probably the easiest. Verify the existence of the interface via the ifconfig -a command. In case of trouble, look in /var/adm/messages and run kstat vr:0.
