Hi, I have raised an RFE to enhance the logging in in.tftpd, which would be needed for operational purposes here. The RFE is currently in "accepted" state and can be found here:
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6699790 I was now thinking of starting to implement some basic standard logging myself, actually using some of the already existing debugging statements. First I was considering just adding some syslog messages with the info priority, similar to the standalone and debugging messages, if debugging was enabled (but also supported in inetd mode). But then I thought, to not change existing behaviour, to just add an additional "logging" option, which logs some of the debugging messages to syslog (sort of debugging light). Do you think this would be a feasible approach?
