Hello, I am working on a GLDv3 driver that supports both LSO and IPv4 checksum offloading. Both seems to work well.
However, I am surprised to find that almost all of the more than 1000 bytes TX data requires hardware to do full checksum offload only, not HW_LSO (LSO offload) or both. I don't understand when transferring a big file, why LSO plus full checksum offload is not the preferred method? How does Solaris determine when to use LSO? checksum offload or both?
