I've installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 on a Dell Dimension 2300. The device driver utility has a driver for both the network card and the Linksys wusb54g wireless adapter. The network card is not connected to a router, but the wireless adapter should be in range of a wireless router.
During manual configuration, however, I can't add the wireless interface. There isn't an add button in the network settings under the configuration tab. When I go to System > Administration > Network I am not prompted for the root password, neither am I prompted when I enter network-config in a normal user terminal. In addition, there does not seem to be any difference after I enter su, the correct root password, and then network-config.
