When it's done right, Solaris doesn't know or care if there are
separate switches at the other end.

What you need are switches that can do 802.3ad across a group and make
it appear as a single LACP peer.  Nortel's SMLT can do this, and there
are others.

(But, no, we don't have support for any of the many proprietary
mechanisms for splitting across switches, which is mostly OK as we
also don't yet have support for bridging.)
