Currently I am getting IPMP failure on all my ldoms on the second virtual NIC.
It is failed on vnet1. This was working until we change our IP Address last
weekend.

Each ldom server has vnet0, vnet1, vnet_:1. this is effecting all ldom servers
on this primary host and not any other primary T2000 hosts. Each ldom NIC
layout is vnet0 = vsw0 and vnet1=vsw2.

The primary has e1000g0 (vsw0), e1000g1 (vsw1), e1000g2 (vsw2), and e1000g3
(vsw3). Only e1000g1 has a ip address assigned. e1000g0, e1000g2 and e1000g3
are 0.0.0.0 but are UP.

I am using solaris 10 05/08 build and have the fully patched all ldoms and
primary and applied the latest Firmware update 136927-04 patch.

here is my firmware output -
SPARC-Enterprise-T2000 System Firmware 6.6.5 2008/07/29 15:28

   Hypervisor 1.6.4 2008/06/06 04:57
   POST 4.28.9 2008/06/30 21:55

here is my hosts, hostname.vnet0 and 1 file -
192.168.9.16 DMZWWWZON01
192.168.9.17 DMZWWWZON01-IPMP01
192.168.9.18 DMZWWWZON01-IPMP02

hostname.vnet0 -
DMZWWWZON01-IPMP01 netmask + broadcast + group production deprecated -failover
up addif DMZWWWZON01 netmask + broadcast + failover up

hostname.vnet1 -
DMZWWWZON01-IPMP02 netmask + broadcast + group production deprecated -failover
standby up

The error message - This error happens on system boot.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] in.mpathd[163]: [ID 594170 daemon.error] NIC failure detected
on vnet1 of group production
Oct 2 15:34:10 in.mpathd[163]: NIC failure detected on vnet1 of group
production

Any ideas why IPMP is failing on vnet1?

Cheers,
James
