Hi,
Iam developing a GLDv3 complaint Network driver for Solaris 10 (x86). When I
run ftp and ping together to a peer system connected trough a switch, I see
ping occasionally reporting the message :

"ICMP Fragmentation needed and DF set from gateway 178.122.70.9
for tcp from 178.122.70.9 to 178.122.70.56 port 34234"

This happens with both Solaris and Linux peer systems. A network trace does
not show the peer sending this ICMP message to 178.122.70.9. There are no
routers in between. Both systems have an MTU 1500. So, I am guessing this is
being reported by Solaris IP layer. The problem goes away when LSO is disabled
or when MTU path discovery is disabled. Has anyone seen this problem ?
Is there any know issues with Large send offload (LSO) in solaris ,
One more thing is iam not seeing this error'd icmp packets either on the wire
(through network analyser) or on the solaris box (ethereal).

Is there any know issues with Large send offload (LSO) in solaris ,
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks.
