all,

I'm experiencing something strange and was wondering whether anyone has any
insight/suggestions/other thoughts on this:

the wifi connection on my Lenovo T60p has recently started to behave very
strangely; it refuses to acquire a DHCP address only under these circumstances:
- when I'm running opensolaris (builds 105 or 101a) (running windows XP is
fine)
- when I'm at home, using a Linksys Gigabit + wifi router (not the precise
name ;-) (at the office, I got a sunwifi link right away)

the ath0 driver plumbs alright, I can snoop it and I see DHCP requests
going out, but nothing coming back. "dladm scan-wifi" shows my ESSID clearly.

(just in case someone mentions it: this is independent of NWAM, AFAICT, I
disabled NWAM and manually did "ifconfig ath0 auto-dhcp", which timed out).

Until we left for Europe before Xmas, I was using this regularly, and I'm
mystified at what may have caused this, and what I need to do to get wifi
back under opensolaris.

TIA
Michael
