Sorry if this was already discussed and fixed but:

In my snv_114 system, whenever the quick "reboot" (or external powercycle)
is used, the ipfilter service fails at startup with these errors in smf log:

[ Jul 16 00:16:33 Executing start method ("/lib/svc/method/ipfilter start"). ]
/lib/svc/method/ipfilter: /var/tmp/ipf/ipf_ovr.conf: cannot create
[ Jul 16 00:16:33 Method "start" exited with status 1. ]

Wiping the directory /var/tmp/ipf and clearing the service does help.
Apparently, it is wiped during clean shutdown, but the step is skipped during
"reboot -p", "reboot -qnl" and such.

Can the wiping be included/moved into service startup, and/or this transient
directory moved into /var/run, /tmp or other volatile FS?
