What is the port distribution of you traffic?  You can display
statistics for each port using "dladm show-aggr -s".

See the dladm(1M) man page and refer to the create-aggr section's
description of "port selection policy".  The port hash is L4 by default
(by transport protocol port numbers).  If you're communicating between
the same set of TCP ports, for example, those packets will all go to the
same port.  If your distribution is skewed toward one particular port
(perhaps because your traffic isn't diverse enough in relation to your
port selection policy), then you won't be able to maximize the
aggregated throughput.
