As I mentioned in my earlier message, the flag day announcement contains the when from the date and build standpoint. http://opensolaris.org/os/community/on/flag-days/pages/2008120402/. Searching for PSARC/2006/357 (obtained from the flag day announcement) at http://hg.genunix.org/onnv-gate.hg/ led me to... http://hg.genunix.org/onnv-gate.hg/rev/7c223a798022 If you search the changeset for ppa, you will find the relevant code. If it is just a matter of somewhat longer term support of /etc/hostname.$((vlan * 1000 + instance)), a modification to /lib/svc/method/network-physical should do the trick. That is, you could modify it to call "dladm create-vlan" when appropriate. -- Mike Gerdts http://mgerdts.blogspot.com/ _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
