That certainly doesn't make sense.  Other than the MAC address, there
should be nothing visible to the DHCP server that would distinguish a
VNIC from a VLAN.

If that really does "fix" the problem, then it sounds like the original
poster has discovered some sort of bug, though what it could be is
unclear.  Given that I *know* that Sun runs Solaris DHCP servers in its
labs with many VLANs attached, there just has to be more to it.
Detailed configuration information and error messages (if any) would help.
