Ok here is a small tip on how to connect your windows pc via opensolaris 2009.06 [ Assuming your remote pc is in LAN or natted some where over WAN ]
I just got installed os 2009.06 now trying to make things work. To connect your windows pc over wan/lan use following steps 1. Go to System > Administration > Packacing Manager 2. Open "Internet" section" in it and find "SUNWrdesktop" package from the list, check it and install it. 3. Now open konsole/terminal, do su , go to following directory > /usr/bin as it wont show under "Applications>Internet" in GUI mode. I dont no why. and use following command in same terminal window> ******** ./rdesktop -x server <your_pc_ip> ********* [ there is "spce" after server word.] Hurrah! you'll really see nice log in screen of your windows PC!!!!
