You haven't answered the key question asked before: what exactly are you
running?  What does "uname -v" say?  There've been changes in Solaris
and OpenSolaris over the years, and determining what sort of problem
you're having will depend on finding out exactly what you've got.

Assuming this is not OpenSolaris that you're running, you should (of
course) contact Sun's technical support group.  It's possible to
configure the old IPMP with just a data address (no test addresses) and
to make the other interface a standby interface -- that should result in
no "floaters" -- but it's unclear if that's really what you want.

If it is OpenSolaris, then upgrade first.  You're using old stuff.
