Kyle,

I would give vpnc a try. I only used it on various Linux distributions
though, but there are "google rumours" that it should compile:

Subject
[networking-discuss] VPN Client choices?

Hi All,

I'm starting to try to use my laptop using OS instead of windows more.
To that end, once I get NDS wrapper to cooperate, the only piece of the
puzzle I'll be missing is a good VPN client to communicate with my
company's Cisco VPN.

On the window's side of things, since I'm using 64bit windows 7, cisco
doesn't have a client for that either, so I found and I'm having great
amount of luck with a client from ShrewSoft. That client is also
available under OpenSource for Linux, NetBSD, and FreeBSD. I downloaded
the source, and took a stab at compiling it on OS (b134) just for
laughs, but as expected it didn't work.

So does anyone know of a better alternative?

Or given the other OS's the ShrewSoft client does work on, anyone think
it'll be easy to get it to compile(at least) on OpenSolaris?

  -Kyle
