Yeehaw - I saw that the MTUs didn't mach, adjusted the Juniper from 1500 to 1480 and voila - Neighborhood went into full and OS shows the routes learned from the Juniper. This is a big milestone. Thank you guys - big time.
Now, I need to piece the whole picture together, starting with the Juniper learning it's default route from Opensolaris. For this , I a) set /etc/defaultrouter to 213.172.123.137 b) set 'redistribute static' in the 'router ospf' section of the quagga config. The default route is showing up in OS and works fine: r...@kunde003-wan:~# netstat -nr Routing Table: IPv4 Destination Gateway Flags Ref Use Interface -------------------- -------------------- ----- ----- ---------- --------- default 213.172.123.137 UG 1 543 : But the default route doesn't show up in the routing table of the Juniper. The connected route (i.e. the 'lan' on the Opensolaris) got redistributed. Of course I did set a static route on the Juniper towards the Opensolaris, so the Juniper can establish the IPSec-vpn, but anything else must be routed thru the tunnel. Any idea, why the default route doesn't get redistributed? Cheers, Kai _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
