I don't know your network, but given that brief description, yes, it
sounds like you'll probably need to configure NAT.

I've never used NAT with non-global zones (just with external devices --
my OpenSolaris box acts as the default gateway/firewall for the rest of
my network), but I'm sure someone else here has and can give details.

Note that NAT and address assignment are really two separate things, and
you configure and manage them separately.  NAT allows you to configure a
private subnet where the traffic in and out of the subnet is translated
so that it looks to the rest of the IP universe as though it comes from
one (or a small number of) public IP address(es).  Address assignment
within a network (public or private) can be static or dynamic.

Step 1, though, is reading through the documentation.  I'd suggest
simplifying things by getting one part working at a time -- starting
with (say) NAT.
