My workstation is not on a UPS and experienced a hard-shutdown the other day due to a commercial power outage. It booted up cleanly afterwards; however, my NIC is does not seem to be functional unless 'snoop' is running. I've tried setting a static IP, using DHCP, triple-checked the subnet mask, etc. If 'snoop' isn't running, I can't ping the default router, resolve hostnames, or SSH to IP addresses on my local network. I don't have a clue whether this is configuration problem, or if the NIC was somehow damaged when the power went out.
My workstation is running build 134, and it is using the e1000g driver. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
