Out of the box it should work for KDE users [1]. Also, the whole architecture of NetworkManager and it's VPN subsystem is designed in a way that allows you to write the upper layers using KDE stuff (e.g. qt, kconfig, kwallet etc.) instead of the GTK+/GNOME stuff. David [1] : though I think you need to ensure that gnome-keyring-daemon is running in your session as there is no activation of said daemon.
