There is in fact network-manager-netbook [1] that is written as a carrick style of interface for Moblin. This has been written by the SuSE guys and works with NetworkManger 0.7. Unfortunately it doesn't work yet with the NetworkManager 0.8 that is going to be in Fedora 12. I'm not sure what version your using as a base but I seem to remember Linpus uses Fedora as a base distro. If your using F-11 or less it should work fine. If your planning on using Fedora 12 its probably better to assist in the porting effort to get a patch for network-manager-netbook to work with NetworkManager 0.8. There have been a couple of emails about it to this list over the last month or so which have more information. There's also quite a bit of cross over between network-manager-applet and network-manager-netbook so for a port to 0.8 you should be able to use that as a base. I'm currently the maintainer of Moblin in Fedora.
