Hello. I trying to create a system-connection for an internal wwan module under ubuntu-karmic.
When configuring as a user connection I am able to use it for dial-up later. Now I changed this connection and set the hook in "available to all users" with the following results: - I need to type in my login password again - a new file is in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/: r...@c399415:~# ls -l /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/ -rw------- 1 root root 749 Nov 16 14:53 MyWWAN - When trying to connect the pppd terminates with signal 15: Nov 16 14:55:56 c399415 pppd[3491]: Plugin /usr/lib/pppd/2.4.4/nm-pppd-plugin.so loaded. I also tried to create the connection from scratch with sudo nm-connection-editor but the effect is the same. The packages I'm using are the original versions from Karmic: ii network-manager 0.8~a~git.20091013t193206.679d548-0ubuntu1 network management framework daemon ii network-manager-gnome 0.8~a~git.20091014t134532.4033e62-0ubuntu1 network management framework (GNOME frontend Thank you for your help! _______________________________________________ NetworkManager-list mailing list NetworkManager-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/networkmanager-list
