How long did it take to establish the PPP session? When I wrote the Iridium plugin for Iridium satellite modems one of the things I had to do is request NetworkManager to setup a longer 'ip-timeout' as the default of 20s was really not enough, I updated it in the "iridium" plugin to be 200s: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/ModemManager/ModemManager/tree/plugins/iridium/mm-bearer-iridium.c#n31 Also, due to the COPS=0 thingy, we'll likely need to setup a full new "thuraya" plugin. Thomas, would you be up to do that? BTW; please post these patches in the ModemManager specific mailing list: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/modemmanager-devel Cheers! -- Aleksander https://aleksander.es _______________________________________________ networkmanager-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/networkmanager-list
